Week of Medical education

It’s been a hectic week, starting with teaching at the students surgical course run in Adelaide at the Convention Centre, where we demonstrated on plastic “saw bones” fixation of neck of femur fractures and ankle fractures. I then co-convened the surgical education section of the Royal Australasian Colloge of Surgeons, during which I ran a masterclass on bow to host a podcast and recorded a live podcast as part of this. This is on topic of podcast and video casting in surgical learning. I have also just recorded an interview with Dr Paul Varley on the topic of hearing loss and Cochlear implants.
