Dr Adam Koukourou BMBS (Hons) FRANZCR

Dr Adam Koukourou BMBS (Hons) FRANZCR is a graduate of the Flinders University, 1998 after intern and resident years, undertook Radiology training in South Australia and the Northern Territory obtaining specialist qualifications in 2006.

After this time Adam spent 4 years in the Darwin as a Consultant Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist at the Royal Darwin and Darwin Private Hospitals. On returning to Adelaide, his home town, in 2010 he joined Finders Medical Centre (FMC) as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist and, currently Head of Interventional Radiology at FMC, a position he has held since 2016. Adam is also a partner of Radiology SA, a private Radiology group in Adelaide. With Radiology SA, he is the Head of Radiology at Flinders Private Hospital, Radiology SA Board Member and Chair of the Radiology SA Clinical Governance Committee.

As both an interventional and diagnostic radiologist, he has an interest in a wide range of imaging guided procedures, and diagnostically has subspeciality skills and interest in Cardiovascular, hepatobiliary and musculoskeletal imaging. Through Radiology SA still work at the Royal Darwin Hospital and the Cairns Base hospital.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys time with the family, actively rides a bike on his indoor trainer and pottering around the garden. Keen follower of sports looking forward to the upcoming Ashes Test in Adelaide.
